Attorney Meredith Hubbard

Meredith Hubbard is a skilled and dedicated trial attorney based in Raleigh, North Carolina, with a practice focused on helping individuals. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, sharp legal insight, and unwavering advocacy, she represents clients facing serious criminal charges as well as students, teachers, and coaches involved in Title IX investigations, hearings, and school suspension appeals. Meredith is a Criminal Justice Act (“CJA”) panel attorney, and regularly represents indigent defendants facing serious federal criminal charges. 

Meredith has years of experience representing students, coaches, professors, teachers, and administrators in misconduct and Title IX investigations and hearings. She has assisted both Complainants and Respondents in K-12 and College/University Title IX proceedings.

Meredith grew up in Duluth, Georgia, and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a degree in psychology. She has lived in Raleigh since 2003 and earned her juris doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. After graduating law school, Meredith has dedicated her career to being a tough litigator. She’s successfully tried cases in state and federal court, and achieved great results on behalf of her clients. 

Meredith is licensed to practice law in North Carolina. She is admitted in all federal courts in North Carolina as well as the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Meredith served as president of the Eastern District of North Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association for the 2016-2017 term.
